3 HACKS you NEVER KNEW to keep your books full & increase your earnings.

We all want to increase our revenue and book clients consistently throughout the year, but we know that it's not always an easy thing to do, right? In the photography world, it can feel like feast or famine, depending on the time of year.

Grand Studio, white seamless paper, medium posing block, natural light.

But what if it doesn't have to be that hard??

I'm gonna give you 3 HACKS that a lot of people don't know to get higher paying clients and book consistently throughout the year :

  1. Don’t set your price to be the lowest. Set your OFFER to have the highest value. As a service provider, you’re trading your time for money, and your time is limited. So if your price is too low, you won’t be able to scale well and booking consistently at low price point may have you BURNT OUT. Instead, increase how you serve your clients (location guides, clothing guides, little thank you gifts, exclusive content, detailed brochure on how to ensure a successful shoot, etc) so that your offer will be more valuable and you can put a higher price on it.

  2. Make sure you have a defined niche. Who is your ideal client? Get out a piece of paper and go into DETAIL on this. What is his/her name? How old are they? Are they married? Do they have a job? Do they have kids? Where do they hang out? Shop? What do they like to do in their spare time? What life stage are they in? How many times a year or in their life would they seek out photography services like yours? How can you help them truly VALUE the service you offer them? Knowing the answer to these questions helps you speak to your ideal client in all of your social media, portfolio building, website, email campaigns and ads. If you don’t go into detail, your messaging can seem lacking, chaotic, and unprofessional.

  3. Create a referral program for your clients. One great way to find more clients is through your current clients. You can add a commission fee (ex 5%) for your clients if their referrals end up hiring you. Another idea would be to add a certain dollar amount per referral to your clients “photoshoot bank” and then when they book with you again, they would get a discount depending on how many additional clients booked you because of their referral. This is such a great way to keep your clients coming back PLUS incentivizing them to bring you new clients as well.

With these hacks, you'll be able to increase your revenue and book more consistently faster/easier.
