Crafting the Perfect Shot - how flattering angles and poses were carefully chosen to capture jaw dropping images
Melissa was mindful of how angles and poses could flatter the mom-to-be's body. They carefully crafted each shot, selecting angles and poses that would ensure a jaw dropping photo. Additionally, props like blankets, chairs, and even our loft studio bed were used to add texture and depth to the photos. By taking the time to carefully select, poses and props, Melissa was able to create a series stunning photos that truly captures the beauty of motherhood.
We asked Melissa what her favorite part of this session was and she told us her favorite part was “the soft lighting up in the Loft! I also loved the simple and clean backdrop options and of course, I adore this family whom I’ve been documenting from engagements, to wedding, to maternity and family!”
We also asked Korrina, the STUNNING momma-to-be some of her thoughts on this session. She told us she “had a vision for these photos and they came out 100x more amazing than I imagined!” She also stated that “it’s likely my last pregnancy so I wanted to be sure to capture these special moments to cherish forever.”

The photographer made full use of our Loft Studio and its wall backdrops and props to create unique images that show off the beauty of motherhood. Through carefully selected angles, poses and lighting, Melissa was able to capture jaw dropping shots with lush color, gorgeous black and white and a clean aesthetic. It was truly an amazing sight to behold the result of all their hard work and how wonderfully they utilized our studio! We are thrilled with how this maternity session turned out- it serves as a beautiful reminder that motherhood is a special gift worth celebrating in all its glory!
